Practice Overview
As an AAHA-accredited facility, our client ensures all clients receive high quality care. Their hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as a fully integrated Idexx digital system, CR digital radiography, CO2 surgical laser, therapeutic laser, ultrasound machine, and a digital dental x-ray machine. They offer routine care, preventive care, advanced surgical care, grooming, and boarding. Their highly-skilled support staff are passionate about the care and service they provide, which allows their doctors to focus on the exam itself. Their team understands the importance of having a healthy work-life balance, which is why they offer their staff a Monday through Friday schedule with no on-call or emergency hour shifts. What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
- Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Texas
- One year of experience preferred, new graduates encouraged to apply
- Surgical experience or interest to learn preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and be flexible
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
