Our client is located in Ogden, Utah, approximately 10 miles east of the Great Salt Lake and 40 miles north of Salt Lake City. Known for being “rugged and rustic, yet cool and urban,” they offer diverse activities such as hiking, mountain biking and skiing for the outdoor enthusiast. Practice Overview

Our client is a privately owned practice, and their ultimate goal is to serve their clients and make their experience a pleasant one. They place a strong emphasis on preventive care and offer wellness care, dental care, diagnostic care, emergency and urgent care, surgery, grooming, etc. too. Their facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment like ultrasound, laser therapy, digital x-ray and a full in-house laboratory to provide efficient, effective care to their patients. Their team loves to learn and explore new areas of medicine to ensure they’re providing the best quality care possible. They proudly support our local community by working with animal rescue groups and hosting fundraisers for the area too. They value the culture of working hard while having fun. Their positive team dynamics allows them to enjoy what they’re doing while supporting each other along the way.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
  • Perform wide range of services and surgeries, including orthopedic surgery if interested
  • Provide education to clients and staff on healthcare plans
  • Maintain a positive work environment
  • Participate in community activities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Guide, utilize and mentor All-Star support staff

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Utah
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Veterinarian preferred
  • Proficiency in spay and neuter surgeries preferred
  • Proficiency in dental, radiology and surgical extractions preferred
  • Experience or interest to learn ultrasound a bonus
  • Interest in alternative medicine like acupuncture or chiropractic preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
