What You’ll Be Working On

  • Develop and maintain relationships with dental insurance providers and patients
  • Effectively communicate with patients and insurance companies by phone, e-mail, and in-person, verifying eligibility and coverage details
  • Prepare claim forms for dental insurance and manage billing
  • Communicate effectively about dental treatment and handle various patient questions
  • Schedule patient appointments, fill in cancellations and no-shows
  • Efficiently handle multiple deadlines and task assignments

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a dental office requited
  • Knowledge of treatment plans, insurance coding and billing required
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to use practice software systems
  • Ability to handle stressful situations, manage conflict and solve problems
  • Team player with the ability to work independently on goals and objectives
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
