Our client serves the East Texas area which is located between the Louisiana border to the east and the Trinity River, or Interstate 45, to the west. Known as the Piney Woods region because of its towering trees, East Texas has a variety of natural attractions that draw visitors from across the country. The region encompasses 41 counties and includes the cities of Beaumont, Tyler, Longview, Lufkin, Marshall, Palestine, Henderson, Jacksonville, and Mount Pleasant. East Texas is also home to a wide variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities and attractions, perfect for solo travelers or with the whole family!
Practice Overview
Our client is a pet wellness and high-quality high volume (HQHV) spay/neuter mobile clinic for cats and dogs of the East Texas community. They are a tight-knit group that contributes their expertise, resources, and time to the communities they serve. Their services and products include vaccines, heartworm tests, heartworm prevention, microchips, flea/tick products, and nail trims. They have a relaxed and lively working environment, thus enables their team to enjoy working together. What You’ll Be Working On
Build and maintain client relationships
HQHV Spay/neuter
Perform wide range of services and surgeries
Provide education to clients and staff on healthcare plans
Maintain a positive work environment
Participate in community activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Guide, utilize and mentor All-Star support staff
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Texas
One year of experience working as an HQHV Spay/Neuter Veterinarian preferred
Strong interest in surgery
Experience or exposure in small animal medicine and high-volume surgery such as spay and neuter
Demonstrated commitment to providing a high level of care and service
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
